"Elli Drive Plus" – New charging tariff to kick off holiday season in Europe
Wolfsburg, 1. Juli 2024. Elli – the Volkswagen Group brand for charging and energy – introduces "Elli Drive Plus", a new charging tariff making seamless travel across Europe even more accessible. Starting from 1st July, customers can book this package to unlock price reductions of up to 33 percent at Ionity charge points in 24 countries within the Elli network for a small monthly fee*.
Just in time for summer travel plans, the "Elli Drive Plus" package reaffirms our commitment to providing innovative and customer-centric charging solutions, making electric vehicle ownership more convenient and affordable across Europe. The new pricing adjustment is strategically designed to offer a more accessible tariff that allows drivers to lower their charging costs at Ionity charge points. Ionity is powered by 100% renewable energy and features ultra-fast charging capacities of up to 350 kW, making long-distance travel sustainable and more affordable for electric vehicle owners. Elli Drive Plus is available for all new subscriptions and provides access to the Ionity network with authentication via RFID card, App and Plug&Charge. Elli Drive Plus also includes access to all 700,000+ charge points connected to the Elli MSP as per our AC and DC rates in the "Elli Drive Free" tariff.
Ionity provides more than 3,900 high power charge points across Europe – all integrated within the Elli MSP as one of Europe’s largest charging networks in Europe with more than 700,000 points. IONITY is a joint venture between various automobile manufacturers, including Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche. Elli provides it’s own MSP solution in the market, similar MSP offers which are "powered by Elli" are offered via the Volkswagen Group Brands Audi, CUPRA, Skoda and Volkswagen.
