Your mission

This position fills a need for a manager of individual contributors at the Software Platform
department. The main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Support hiring efforts in area of responsibility to quickly recruit top engineering talents
• Create and oversee team budgets and engage in cost management strategies
• Maintain expertise for two teams under your supervision
• Lead individuals in the product development teams
• Drive engineering excellence

Your profile

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, alternatively comparable professional experience in that field
• 4+ years Software Engineering experience
• Prior experience in leading a team
• Experience in cross-functional product teams / organizations
• Experience in engineering of scalable web applications and databases in modern environments
• Strong sense of ownership, passion and drive
• Well-developed communication skills
• High motivation to learn and grow into people management
• Mentor other engineers and helping them to grow and succeed
• Drive to make the team successful, give honest feedback, and to discuss, commit and execute
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
